Clean the area.

Coat over crack or join with Liquid Rubber wider than the geofrabric width and lay geofrabric ensuring that you work it into the base layer of Liquid Rubber

Recoat over entire area with Liquid Rubber wider than the first time ensuring that you soak the fabric with Liquid Rubber.

  • Besser block walls are always weak between the block verticals make sure you strengthen them or use geofabric.

  • When painting geofabric start from the middle and brush out towards the edge so to stop the fabric pulling up with the brush.

  • A generic concrete water tank should be painted with Liquid Rubber High Build and have a average thickness of 2-3 mm overall or if the tank is deeper than 2m than you should average 3mm on the bottom half and 2 mm thick at the top. you can work out the Product usage from our Application information Page here

  • Along as you leave time to dry you can layer up the Liquid Rubber High Build and geofrabric as many times as you like.

  • Using a 230mm Roller and dipping directly into the bucket can make things quicker and easier to.

  • You should also use Heavy Duty geofabric on wearable and vulnerable areas as it can be used for strengthening the membrane, In places like the entry where a ladder or simular access gear would go, Just to place a few strips of geofabric with the Liquid Rubber in places that otherwise be at risk of damage.

Helpful tip:

Leave the brushes and roller (bend the arm slightly) in the rubber in the bucket with the lid closed and it wont dry out and you can just reuse the same brush.
