The crack or tear and the area adjacent to it are first dried and cleaned of any dirt, algae or flaking coatings.

Using a brush, paint a coating of High Build over the crack or tear and place a pre-cut piece of re-eenforcing geotextile and then apply a second coat

This procedure may be repeated
as required to produce a strong
membrane

Once the membrane is cured, usually in 24 hrs, the repaired area may be over-coated with Daclaror High Build depending on the end use

For larger commercial repairs the surface is usually completely
re-waterproofed using either a spray technique.

or a finished topcoat may be
applied by brush or squeegee.
A total resurfacing is not
necessary for small repairs.

Waterproofing and Sealing Roof Vents

High Build is used to provide a waterproof seal for roof penetrations such as vents and skylights. In this example a contractor is repairing a leaky roof vent.

Using a brush, paint a coating of High Build over the vent pipe
and where the pipe joins the roof deck.

The vent and the area adjacent to it are first dried and cleaned
of any dirt, algae or flaking coatings

While the High Build is still wet,wrap the pipe with a light-weight geotextile leaving a lap on
the roof deck.

Coat the joint area between the vent pipe and the roof deck with High Build, several thin coats will completely
saturate the geotextile
forming a strong membrane.

Work from the bottom to the top. High Build is easy to brush on
because it has the same consistency as thick paint.

The finished seal when fully cured turns to a shiny black colour within 24 hrs. The joint
is now fully sealed and waterproofed

High Build may be applied using a brush, to a clean surface that should be free of dirt and other contaminants.

Allow the High Build to dry for a minimum of 12 hours prior to the application of Instant Set membrane.

Premium Instant Set corrosion protection for metal

Premium Instant Set is a fluid applied product for protecting metal surfaces from corrosion and rust. The cured Premium Instant Set protective coating has excellent dielectric strength, gas permeability, resistance to corrosion creep back, and blistering. Liquid Rubber will not oxidize. After applying Liquid Rubber it will form a thick coating which will not oxidise, craze, crack, loosen or scale.
